Origins/Bio

I am a manual physical therapist who graduated from University of Maryland (BSPT) in 1978. Introduced to the transformative aspects of touch in 1973 via the Arica Institute in NYC, I deepened my skills studying with like minded MD’s, DO’s, PT’s acupuncturists, homeopaths and healers. I have taught manual based anatomy and intervention to students of physical therapy, acupuncture, massage, dance, yoga and tai chi since 1978. As a student and teacher of Tai Chi since 1973 this art has likewise influenced touch, health and movement in my daily life.  I have been a teacher of  Zero Balancing (a form of bodywork that interfaces energy and structure) since 1989. More recently,  I devote part of my practice in the treatment newborns and their mothers via CranioSacral and Cranial Fluid Dynamics approaches. I consider manual physical therapy as an ever evolving craft and am grateful to treat individuals in a direct one-on-one environment.
